Abstract

CV. Djibril Jaya is the company that received the orders with the system orders from customers. The company unable to complete orders received, it is associated with the current order data processing that is not optimal, because it only looks at the First in first out scheduling, where the orders came first will be directly carried out without looking at the number of orders, status of priority order and optimization of machine work, so the result is wait time queue becomes long that caused the production process becomes too late and got complaints from customers. Of these problems, so made a production scheduling system using a combination of algorithms shortest job first scheduling with priority customers can processing data order, the order came to be queued by priority order status, the same types of orders that can be consolidated and the length of time the shortest production workmanship to the largest (shortest job first scheduling), Where this method produce average waiting time small compare with FIFO scheduling (kusumadewi:2000), the system can also create a schedule of production of goods and the employee work schedule. Based on the resulting system and a series of trials test that have been done, then this system by utilizing the production order can know what to do, master production schedule, information, goods, information production schedule completion date order and employees work Schedule that is usable as information or reference to do production process.
