Abstract

Attendance is routine before doing activities such as education in schools and universities. This is a list of present attendance record when starting the activity until the activity ends. At this time attendance system used still manually by hand. In this case will be made attendance system automatically uses RFID tags as identification cards and RFID reader as the reader of the card. This tool works by using two serial contained in ATMEGA1284P-PU microcontroller as controller of RFID Stater Kit and WIZ110SR module. Communication used the serial communication and TCP / IP. Communication with the microcontroller used in RFID Stater Kit is a serial while TCP / IP is used on the microcontroller WIZ110SR module. Besides the addition of hardware, this tool supported design software including Visual Basic 6 and MySql. Visual Basic is used for programming the data processing of student and MySql are used for the database of students. The advantages of this tool is relatively cheaper funding efficiency for each class does not require a computer. So there are only a tool attendance at every class to replace the PC and on the server side there is a PC as the center.
